Gender Inclusivity

G0046_SASC_Web-01_288x288At the SASC, our doors are open to individuals of any genders who have survived sexualized violence, intimate partner violence, and/or harassment. We recognize that sexual violence can be committed against anyone, of any gender identity or expression, particularly for those facing multiple sites of marginalization. We wish to open up the narrative of sexual violence—as any form of non-consensual sexual encounter—to enable an understanding of existing violence outside of this gendered framework.

Anyone can be a survivor, and every survivor deserves applicable, effective, accessible and non-judgmental support.
